On February, the United States and Russia held a first round of negotiations on Ukraine in Saudi Arabia. On February 17th, US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio; National Security Adviser, Mike Waltz; and White House Envoy, Steve Witkoff, arrived to Saudi Arabia to discuss the end of the war. According to US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, Saudi Arabia played an “indispensable role” in arranging the talks between Moscow and Riyadh.
